Day 29: Happy Challenge(s) Eve

Alright, 24 hours from now I can officially say, "I have completed my 30 Day Challenges!!!"  Until then I need to keep on trudging through with my yoga and salads.

Bikram Challenge:
Kick and stretch.  Kick and stretch.  Those are the words the instructor says when you're in the Standing Bow Pulling Pose, first for 60 seconds and then for 30 seconds.  Take a look:  
[Note:  This is not me, nor do I look as good doing the pose....maybe one day...but I am pretty darn close]


Usually when I'm in the first 60 seconds of the pose I end of falling out of it, but tonight I held the pose for a full 60 seconds, woohoo!  I was pretty psyched and was truly in a zone for this pose.  It was one of my bikram yoga goals during this challenge.

My ability to truly focus is kind of weirding me out too.  For example, work has been SUPER STRESSFUL the past two weeks.  I've got deadlines coming at me at all angles, but even with all that, I have been able to buckle down, focus and keep myself on top of the tasks.  I honestly think even though work's been pretty stressful it couldn't have happened at a better time since I'm at the tail end of my yoga challenge and my mindset is calmer and more at peace.  I'm not easily distracted or let things get to me....thank goodness.

Dinner Salad Challenge:
I doubled up on salad for lunch and dinner.  I'll have to upload pics and the description tomorrow.  Right now, I need to rest up for a long day ahead of me tomorrow.
