I was a hot mess at the beginning of class during the standing poses. I felt light headed part of the time and even felt like I may possibly pass out...luckily I didn't. Well, I kept pushing myself and finally felt I could handle class. And of course, it was another scorcher in the hot room. So, at one point during the floor poses (Camel Pose) one of the students began to walk out of the room and the instructor asked if she was okay. The student nodded yes and as soon as she walked out of the door you hear a THUMP! Yup, she fainted....from the sounds of it. The instructor started to rush out of class, took off her headset and gave it to me saying the following, "MJ take over the class. You instructor everyone. Everyone follow MJ's lead." My initial reaction: WHAT?!?!?! I replied, "Ummmm...okay....where were we?!" I put on the headset, stood up and faced the class. Everyone was still lying on the floor waiting for me to start instructing them through the second set of Camel. I slowly talked them through it and realized when they were in the pose that I need to watch the clock cause we hold the second set for 30 seconds. I'm thinking to myself, "Ummmm, how many seconds have they been in the posture? Well, just wait 10 more seconds." As soon as I talked the class out of the pose, the instructor came back in and took over....THANK GOODNESS!!! That was a little stressful, but I got through it. Namaste. Oh, the student who passed out was okay, just probably didn't hydrate enough before class. All is well in Bikram class again :) And there you have it...my first experience as a Bikram instructor.

Salad Assessment:
I'm happy and it tasted good. Basically, I'm too tired to give a more enthusiastic assessment.
